Valhalla Grandhall
Valhalla is Norwegian for "heavenly place", and that's exactly where you'll find the Valhalla Grand Hall; nestled among the pines along Lake Tahoe's shores. This historic structure is truley a romantic setting for our Valhalla Wedding Package. Built in 1924, this historic, beautifully detailed wood and stone hall includes a wrap-around, lodge pole pine porch that is perfect for cocktails or outdoor dining with gorgeous views of the lake, hardwood floors, French doors opening onto the porch and a large lawn, a massive 20-foot tall stone fireplace and walk-in hearth and an indoor second floor balcony. To comply with Forest Service regulations, wedding ceremonies must be held indoors. Our Ceremony, Cake & Champagne Package is our newest wedding package. A ceremony with a Cake & Champagne reception to follow all in our beautiful banquet loft no one has to go anywhere. Its naturally cozy atmosphere and high vaulted ceilings give it a feel of a church but with a more intimate and personal feel. 1hr indoor Ceremony in the Blue Angel Banquet Loft 1hr Cake & Champagne Reception in the Blue Angel Banquet Loft 125 people maximum including wedding party Special Inclusions: Server/Bartender, Cake (one slice per guest), Champagne Toast/Apple Cider (one toast per guest)
