The Blue Angel Family

ROSIE COWEN | OWNER

Rosie is a nearly 15 year local was born and raised in England where she learned the height of service in London’s West End bistros. Later, she worked abroad at ski resorts in the Austrian and Swiss Alps. She also studied hospitality in the UK.  Inspired by the cafes and bistros she found abroad, she opened the Blue Angel Cafe in 2003 as a second home for locals and travellers alike.

JEFF COWEN | OWNER

Jeff is a 18-year local who started in Tahoe working on the Lake as a captain for Tahoe Sport Fishing. Jeff would take his clients fishing off of Ski Run marina and run the catch up to the Cafe so that his guests might enjoy their freshly caught fish right off the grill.  Jeff worked for a local Tahoe agency for many years but his passion for Blue Angel Cafe made him join the team once again.  On any given day, you can catch Jeff fixing little odds and ends at the Cafe, or enjoying the summer garden with their three children.
